Absolutely wonderful! I keep coming back over the last several years, to listen to their voices and watch these lovely young women sing with passion and the amazing ensemble playing and supporting the choir. Bravo to the conductor for leading them and bringing them to all 300, 00+ of us over the years! Almost brings me to tears. Thank you all.

I stumbled on this absolute gem this morning in Estonia and I was moved to tears by the beauty of this amazingly fresh and innocent rendition of Purcell. It reminded me of my youth and the path of discovery of the beauty of the world. It brightened my day in the midst of hysteria and panic over C.

What beauty. Young ladies singing with all their hearts swaying to the harmonies and rhythm of a man who lived three centuries prior. Purcell would have approved.

What a wonderful thing for young people to have heard such beauty that counters the modern garbage with which our ears are so frequently bombarded...

Superlative performance. Excellent diction, enthusiasm and this non-English ladies choir is singing from memory. Thank you for brightening the day of this elderly choral singer. If music be the food of love, play on ....

Listening to this from Melbourne, Australia. Absolutely delightful ...! Surely, sublime music knows no bounds ... .who'd have thought that a contemporary Portuguese girls' choir could perform Henry Purcell so exquisitely, and with such youthful vigour. Bravissima, ladies ...!

Purcell's music has always affected me on an intensely personal level, but this incredible performance is truly one of the high points of my life-long musical relationship with the composer (My wife and I made a point to visit his grave last summer when we were in the U.K.)  My compliments to these inspired vocalists; we can see the joy of their own performance on their faces.  And compliments also to the wonderful instrumentalists.  And to think that I found this on You Tube by accident!

Speaking as an Englishman who has been aware of Purcell's magic for nearly sixty years I'd just like to say that I was delighted and moved to hear such an excellent interpretation from an amalgamation of young people from another culture. Well done, thanks, an best wishes to you all - keep on playing and singing! Music really is one of the things which binds us!

What a sweet and delightful thing you have done here ! To be precise - Mister Purcell himself would have been delighted to give ear to your sweet tones. Like some of the others who have commented here, I've spent my life pursuing, making and surrounding myself with music - and today you brought me tears of joy. Keep making beauty in your lives, you are on the right path.

So amazing to hear such beautiful voices in the midst of the pandemic lock-down. I appreciate that it was sung so beautifully by a Portuguese choir in my birth tongue. I have tears of joy. Muito obrigado!

Everyone is clearly enjoying every minute of the performance, including me. A nigh on flawless rendering, the singing is so relaxed and full of joy. You all deserve an award of some kind, congratulations all round.

This is one of the first Baroque masterpieces that I listened to closely and repeatedly, with the arias sung by the greatest countertenors of the last 40 years. And I am so impressed and moved by this performance. It all - music - still lives.

There aren't sufficient complimentary words in the English language to do full justice to this performance. I'll just write - truly superb.
