'King Charles All Smiles After Attempted Egg Assault in Luton'

King Charles has met community leaders and voluntary organisations at Luton Town Hall.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of common assault after an egg was allegedly thrown in the direction of the King during the walkabout.

Bedfordshire Police said the suspect was in custody for questioning after being arrested in St George’s Square.

I think King Charles looks more and more like Prince Philip. When the King stepped out of his car it was like seeing prince Philip again. Anyway. I think the new King is doing a very good job. He has proven himself to be a very good King, and he is clearly empathetic and interested in the people he meets. That is good.
