In this video, I explore its machined aluminum construction, adaptive BeamTec encoders, and customizable RGB lighting. I'll compare it to the Precision Sim Engineering Pro Switch Panel and help you decide if this €330 button box is worth the investment for your sim racing setup. From build quality to software integration with SimHub, I cover everything you need to know about this high-end sim racing peripheral.

I realized I forgot to mention this in the final thoughts section of the video: If you already own a Precision Sim Engineering PSP, the upgrade might not feel entirely justified for everyone. However, depending on your priorities and what you value most in your sim racing gear, some of you may find it worth making the switch. Thanks for watching!

Control Panel for the looks but the Pro Switch Panel wins for me the software section for now. Hopeful that Bavarian Sim Tec will deliver something equivalent in the near future. Great review as always 👍

Enjoyed the review, I just got a PSP and am loving it, looking at Bavarian Wheel though PS: you have the best B rolls in sim racing channels Ive seen.

I own a PSP which I love a lot. Still when I bought the BST DDU and also order the BST Control Center, owning an Alpha steering wheel I knew it would be of the highest quality. However having both the DDU and the CC for around a month, I still haven't used the CC for two reasons you are pointing out: no button cap > means you have to commit to your choice and I don't know if I'll use either PSP or CC, or If they will be complementary. Thus I don't want to replicate the same function on the CC than the one on the PSP at the moment. Also PSP has DNR support which makes a world of difference. The day we'll get a DNR profile for the CC will be a game changer.

I agree the hardware is solid, but I surprised that they didn't have a more advanced profile or DNR support at launch. I don't understand what's going on there but it's silly for something this simple to be missing.

Also agree with button caps for everything instead of stickers.

+1 for customer servive also, Mine did ship with the incorrect t-nut for the magic arm, inconvenient but I bought one in the US they refunded me the difference.
They made it right and I'll buyore from them again. 👍🏾

Great video as usual! Yes to button caps. Much nicer than the inclusion of stickers.
Do the magic arm threads mount directly to the t slot nuts in aluminum profile rigs?

How does it justify being twice the price of a streamdeck, while seeminly less versitile?

Pulled the trigger yesterday. Hope I dont mess the stickers up 😅. Btw can you tell us a bit more about the DN Profiles, what make them Special and how to get them?

Stream deck is always better than any button box imo ... i'm using the stream deck XL and would never change for anything else

genuine question! are u a professional sim racer affiliated with some team or how do you manage to get access to all invites and sim products like wheels directly from the manufacturers? i mean like u are sponsored for the products by the manufacturers right?

Interestingly I felt the buttons were inferior to those on the PSP which is one of the reasons I returned my CC. They were far looser on my unit, had a hollow light click to them (less tactile) and also only actuated when pressed in the centre, pressing on the outside of the button didn’t always register. I felt in the heat of the race this wasn’t ideal. I also think the magic arm is a poor system compared to a ram mount, I guess this reflects in the price though.

Buttons are crooked. No funky switch. No spare sticker set. It is hard for me to recommend over PSP.

400€ for some Buttons with blacklight led... 😂

You would not mind to pay even more for button caps? Crazy bro, this is heavily overpriced as it is. Even when it would have dynamic scribble strip like (see Behringer x32 channel strip labels) buttons, I would have a hard time with the price but at least consider. Stickers are so 1980ies.

The price is ridiculous. Just get yourself a stream deck.

Not good, every button the same, you will not know what you push
