Museveni to attend first sitting of 10th parliament

Parliament has confirmed that the President Yoweri Museveni will attend the election of the Speaker and Deputy tomorrow. His role in the process is to hand over the instruments of power as provided for under the constitution. The race for the two positions in the past months have been very divisive, forcing him and ruling party organs to intervene.
