Can you find the communication delay in Antarctica, what about the Martian dust that gets literally everywhere due to electrostatic attraction and is known to be harmful? Yes there many similarities between sending someone to McMurdo station and an outpost on mars, and it’s a good idea for training astronauts is some aspects, we know how people react to being crammed into a small habitat for a while, but the addition of small factors such as the comms delay changes things, not necessarily significantly, but on mars there is no rescue nor support, so it needs to be done for safety. Would you go to mars if these tests not knowing how the human mind reacts to such an environment?

i decided to become a recluse a year or so ago, dropped all my friends and kept my contacts to just my son and ex wife, i could well go to mars i think, all i need is internet porn and a sketch book.
