I would suggest asking questions about subjects that no one else has addressed. Such as:

1-What should Ukraine, Poland & your neighbors do about Russian soldiers in Moldova/Transnistria in the near future & in the long-term?

2-What surprises Ukrainians about themselves since the full scale invasion? In other words; What things have you personally done well since 24 February 2022? What have you personally done poorly?

3-How has the relationship between Poles & Ukrainians changed (if at all) since February 2022? The same question could be asked about relations between Ukrainians and people from other former Soviet states, like Estonia, Latvia, Hungary & Romania.

11 years ago I crossed the border between Belarus and Ukraine to head to Kazantip festival thereafter in Crimea.
So sad things evolved from relative peace, freedom and nice moments...to literally war and bad feelings.

As I see it, you have to separate ordinary people/civilians from leadership/politics/systems. Both Russia and Belarus are dysfunctional states, but that doesn't mean, that the Russians and Belarussians do not have a right to exist. Those, who have started the war and are in the powercircles, have to be taken to justice and the ordinary people will have to be freed from their totalitarian regimes. A free Russia and Belarus, based on liberty, democracy, human rights and a free market economy, with no nuclear weapons and a very minimal military, would be a dream scenario, in my opinion. Russians and Belarussians appear frightened and apolitical, because that is how they survive themselves. We have to liberated them, too. Make the two countries into open, friendly, democratic and peaceloving societies.

I live in the US, it's so odd to me that your neighbors want to take your land and kill you. I have three US states that border mine and two are a bit dumb and one is ok but they don't send bombs and death to kill us. They invite us over to camp and go to the beach and take our money. And we do the same to them. I am sorry for what your country is going through. It's very sad.

What do Ukrainians think of Russians and Serbs (excluding dickhead politicians)? I am of Serb descend myself and know a couple Russians that fled to Serbia (because of the mobilisation and the fact that they were seen protesting) They have family in Ukraine.
