I just read Mammoth at the Gates a few weeks ago and while I've really liked the other books in the series, this one just hit on a different level and I absolutely adored it! I can't wait for the next book in the series 🙂

I've been having terrible deja vu, so I was like I swear Mammoth at the Gates was already wrapped up, but was ready to accept my brain was wrong 😆glad you and Sush were able to enjoy it again.

Yay for finishing a big chunky Jemisin!

A lot intrigues me about that Delany, I think Babel 17 is probably one I want to get to soonest though. I think density is definitely a general impression I've heard about his work.

I'm glad you enjoyed the NK Jemisin series finale even if you found it quite intense! And that you had a good reading experience with your first series of hers. I have been meaning to try some Samuel R. Delany at some point as he is one of the pillars of afrofuturism. It does sound very detailed. I am going to try something else of his but I am glad to know I won't be starting here. Also, amazing to have read your way through your owned ebook TBR 👏🏾

The last time I read Nghi Vo wasn't a big success, but I would to try more from author!
Looks like you had a great conclusion for 2023 reading year.
I am very much interested in the works of Jemisin and Delany. Been hearing so much about them but I have not read any.
