I just realised the Largo is such a genius choice of repertoire! The Sonata ends on a B-flat, the Largo begins with a B-flat and ends with an E-flat tonic octave, and the Polonaise begins with that exact E-flat tonic octave in the same register, allowing Sorita to create that feeling of continuity through all the pieces whilst still adhering to the time limit. Genius! Not too mention it's a nice dynamics contrast to the two loud pieces it's sandwiched by!

I have listened to polonaise in A flat major for numerous years and countless of times. Never have this much of clear pictures on my heart as much of mr. Sorita’s polonaise.
Brought me in tears. What a artist!
Amazing! Maturity of understanding, such an ease and effortless performing! I am all for his winning!!!
