The thing about the E-clutch, is that there's no reason not to have it. Want to bleep, go ahead - the clutch lever is right there. Just want to get home after a long day at work? Just do it.

I think the lastshot of the whole bike just showcases how good it looks design wise

We have 2 new 2024 CB 650 R in the family now. An A2 Version that my son owns and an “open” version with eClutch that my wife bought.
EClutch helps her to start again biking after a 20 year break, glad Honda developed it ❤

We all LOVE the engine sound, the look, the screaming inline 4 if you race it - but the also the very smooth, typical 4 cylinder that you can accelerate with 1.000 rpm without any engine hiccups. Try this with a 2 cylinder…

Fantastic bike. Only the “Angstnippel” could be a bit shorter, you also hear them while Schaaf is cornering.

I've watched 6-7 reviews of the E-Clutch, and you are the only one that has mentioned the fact that it doesn't automatically rev-match downshifts. Thank you for pointing that out!

Great riding mate, looks like the bike handles pretty well.
Bike sounds amazing for a stock exhaust.

I am with you on that, no blip = no fun.

With my roads I’d be under the powerband in first gear constantly, looks fun on these higher speed sections. Also forgot to add these bikes are tempting because I could share it with my scooter riding friend

Literally searched this bike yesterday hoping you'd tested it; look what appears on my homepage today 😁
I tested a CBR650 the other day and found the E-clutch super easy to get used to, nearly stalled my SV on the way home...

If you are disabled and can't shift traditionally, this is for you. If you live somewhere crowded and are always in stop and go traffic and can't lane split and a bike is your only transportation, fine. But as far as I am concerned, I see a future where motorcycles are going to be like cars are now. All automatic and can't find a manual to save your life. to me riding a bike is a harmonious exercise . A dance with clutch, throttle and shift lever depending on situation and that's what makes riding fun for me.

Best video explaining the e clutch feature. Subscribed!! I would say the only reason to not have the eclutch is that our shin are already near the engine on the 2023 version, and eclutch amplifies this problem a little bit. I have the 2023 version (or whatever before the eclutch feature) and i love it visually, stock sound is perfect and the bike feels perfect.

If i want to go more sporty/manuever mode i put my chest down and the bike moves with your mind, but if i want to be relaxed i can sit upright and shut my mind off.

As an amateur and a guy who uses the bike to work, commute and go into meetings with clients on really hard-to-park locations, the bike is just perfect. Forgiving, smooth, etc

The cb650r was the second big bike that I have sat on (big bike - 400cc above bikes in philippines that are highway legal, the first one was kymco xciting 400).

I felt I was lucky enough that the owner allowed me to sit and start his cb650r (no riding).

Sounds pretty good 👍 However, I don’t like those new digital speedometers. They cost a fortune to fix. The analog speedometers are easier to see and pretty much last forever.

I always look forward to your reviews. The focus on the ride and sound of the engine is what I like most. I can never hear the bike when people talk during the reviews lol. They might as well be on an electric bike.
