NEW E175 for MSFS! | EARLY ACCESS Review! | FSS E-Jets

Welcome to a very interesting video, FlightSim Studio released their first E-Jet as part of the E-Jets family line-up. The E175, with varying reactions across the internet, I share my thoughts in a balanced manner, showcasing the good and bad as well as discussing the future. My bottom line is: Do not buy this unless you are willing to take the gamble, there is simply too much missing for this to be considered anything other but an Early Access WIP. To those not willing to take that risk, wait around a year, It should have improved by then. Until that point, I cannot recommend it as anything other except a gamble on the future. I am very disappointed in the developer. They can say early access all they want, and sure they have fessed up and been honest when they were caught, but that's the thing. It took them being caught and people digging into the project to discover that there are major flaws with the project. If they wanted to say, "you're paying to be involved in the alpha testing, " I wouldn't have a problem. I would expect that an alpha-level project has major system functionality missing. For them to want fifty dollars from me, it better be a fully functional project. I'm not paying study-level prices for default systems and functionality.

This is why as much as I hate to say it, I prefer freeware developers that say that they will make a high fidelity plane and never announce their release date. At least I know they're actually trying to make the aircraft as best as possible before even releasing it, and even if they fail to accomplish, I wouldn't regret any purchases

I've taken a punt with it because I do quite a bit of basic flying anyway....setting up an IFR route via the World map and off I go. Enjoyed a couple of these flights so far in the 175 and had no issues albeit with manual landings. Overall the model looks nice too. Also, despite flying out of Haneda and over Tokyo, I didn't notice any real issues with FPS on my machine (high settings, 1440p, 5800x3D and 6750xt).
I'll probably get many hours from it doing these basic flights so will be happy but can understand those who want systems won't be especially given the premium price.
Maybe they are a small dev studio with good intentions in need of a cash injection to help keep development going? If this is the case then we should give the devs a chance....they have said what their plan is so best to come back in 6-12 months time to see if they have been good to their word.

I don’t get this. People defending an “early access” that is almost the same cost as the fenix. This dev is getting a pass because of the aircraft it is releasing and what people hope it will be. The best part of this is the the model it purchased from xcrafts. So hey let’s give them credit for releasing a an aircraft that they didn’t make the model for, slapped default systems in and before the backlash weren’t being completely honest about. This is a bad president to set.
Ets tell devs it’s ok to release their products incomplete by just slapping other devs work into.

This is the first review of any MSFS product that feels very balanced and real. I am really looking forward to a finished product, the two main issues by the sounds of it are the FPS and the autopilot / MCDU systems

Thank you for this review. I checked their website this morning. Their claim of having this aircraft fully developed by the end of the year (it's 1/11/23, last time I checked), made this very risky. Especially when it's available now for almost 50 bucks.
