I'm sure it has to be installed on the SSD. It's the SSD that's running the program that makes it faster.

Stupid question I guess. But when it says it improves programs like Photoshop and other by 25%/50% etc. Do you have to have the program actually installed on the SSD to get these speeds? Or can you have it installed on a regular HDD and get good speeds?
