How the ownership of the Elder Wand moved from Dumbledore to Harry?
Dumbledore became the master of the wand after defeating Grindelwald, Draco disarmed Dumbledore in the astronomy tower and became the new owner, Harry took Draco's wand out of his hand, which counts as winning a duel against Draco, and therefore Harry became the last owner of the Elder Wand.

This is pretty simple to answer really. It's revealed that for the ownership of the Elder Wand to be transferred to someone else, they have to disarm, defeat or kill the previous owner. In HBP, Draco disarmed Dumbledore, but didn't kill him. Hence, the ownership transferred to him. Voldemort didnt realise this and thought Snape was the owner and hence killed him. Harry did realise it, disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor, claimed ownership over the wand and defeated Voldemort using it. Voldemort lost cause the Elder Wand's owner was Harry himself, the person he was fighting.

it is so hilarious that harry literally snatched draco's wand IT WAS THE MOST LEGENDARY DISARMING EVER

Before harry destroyed the elder wand, did he realize that he now has all 3 deathly hallows?

I´m pretty sure the ownership of the Elder Wand is now already unknown because Harry had became an auror, actively duelling both during training and in real fight. And I won´t believe that he had never been disarmed even once for decades.

This was the only part of the books that felt convoluted and internally inconsistent. Elder Wand ownership should have been Dumbledore to Snape to Voldemort to Harry. Harry (with Draco's wand) beating Voldemort (with the Elder Wand) should have been focused on Harry overcoming Voldemort personally, not wand lore. Then Harry's triumph would have earned him ownership of the elder wand. He would have used his new found power to repair his old wand, then destroyed the elder wand out of humbleness and precaution. It would have been a better, more logically consistent ending.

So your saying if I hit Harry's wand out of his hand, I will become powerful?

Draco’s almost at tears in this scene as he had just lost the one thing to remind him of Hogwarts

It doesn't "count as winning a duel", the Elder Wand counted it as Harry's overpowering him as he took Draco's wand which switched allegiance to him as a result (something rare for unicorn tail hair wands to do).

I get it. But draco never touched the elder wand, the one Harry disarmed was the former dracos unicorn wand. How does the elder wand know Harry disarmed Draco in the past?
Also, every time you get disarmed you have to buy a new wand?

That’s the dumbest way to take owner ship of the elder Wond.

Ok well harry never got rid of the invisibly cloak, the resurrection stone is still somewhere in the forest, and we know snapped wands can be repaired, so if someone found both halves of the wand they could repair it.

Which means someone could still become the master of death

That's exactly what Harry explained in the movie lol

Weird how nobody tried to disarm Dumbledore before Draco did

Harry should have at least fixed wogwarts before breaking it 😂

This is ridiculous, so everytime someone uses expelliarmus, the other one loses his wand forever? So throughout the movies we would see lots of people losing their wands and that did not happen why it suddenly works like that for the deathly hollows?

in the shittiest way ever, he didn't even duel draco, a simple expelliarmus was all we needed

I'm not gonna lie I have always fought the idea of it being Harry's. I say it's heroine's, I just don't like the non-magical disarming. I feel it's heroine's after she's disarms Draco in the room of requirements lol.

Interesting thought if a muggle killed the owner, who would gain ownership?

I’ve always had a problem with this. It just doesn’t make sense that if Harry disarmed Draco he becomes the master of the elder wand. Draco never even touched the elder wand. And throughout the deathly hallows they talk about the elder wand passing through murder not disarming. Plot holes in the Harry Potter series are myriad
