I see Static as the Spider Man of DC, I mean that in terms of the character and not popularity. If DC made a live action movie for Static and made it good I think it could give the Spider Man movies a run for their money.

Static is by far my favorite DC super hero, next to Batman of course. His personality is a lot like Peter Parker's and I felt he was the most relatable superhero for me growing up.

Static Shock could've been the Spider-Man of Dc or be a role model for black kids in this generation that are so destroyed (I'm a black male) with gun violence and other shit. They need to bring him back.

All I had to relate to when growing up was that static show. Never thought a hero could be black let alone have his OWN SHOW before that. It changed my life in a way. *Thanks to all who were involved with it's creation.*

Ya gotta admit, Arris kinda rocks. He can talk really really REALLY fast, but still fairly understandable, has an obvious love for both Marvel and DC comics, and is just kinda funny.

Spidey is my all time favorite Superhero, but he could certainly learn from Static about balancing his hero life and his real life. Virgil did right what Peter Parker did wrong. He was a geek who was picked on all the time, but when the chance came to choose between right and wrong, he chose right, unlike Peter who made one of the worst decisions that haunts him til this day. Virgil actively seeks new opportunities for himself, being an apprentice at Star Labs, and thinks before he acts.
