Thank you very much for sharing these videos. I’m not at a high level of understanding about anything and I’ve stumbled my way back to the church partly through reading Derrida’s Gift of Death and listening to his talk about prayer. I know Marion is a student of his and this is an exciting path forward to study as I continue to try and become a bit catholic again.

Ahah thank you for sharing these interviews.

I am currently studying Marion’s work called The Erotic Phenomen.

This is very difficult. It’s been 3 days now. I’ve dedicated 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon on this study.

Currently on the part about Self-hate.

I have the book, not an easy task, but very passionate.

Bravo. I, too, have no reason not to remain Catholic.

Hi there, I'm currently reading a lot of Marion in my gap year before I hopefully go to UChicago for Divinity School *fingers cross*, and I'm very curious as to when did you do these interviews? I see your channel uploads them sporadically, but they all same to be from the same time. I also see you offer online courses, did you make an online course with JLM?! b/c I would be very interested in purchasing that. Do you have more interviews you're going to upload? I would love to just know the story behind these interviews and ur relationship with him. Thank you very much!

He uses the term "Christian" and not Catholic. So he would just as soon be Lutheran or Anglican? Possibly. I find that Catholics are by and large content to attend Mass (the few who still do!) and they have fulfilled their obligations. Whereas Protestants are far more engaged in making their Christianity part of their life. Á mon avis.
