In the wake of global supply chain issues during the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing trade war between the United States and China, many Chinese companies are adjusting their delivery strategies. Chinese businesses are establishing factories in northern Mexico to produce and deliver products to the United States in less time.

Joining the discussion:

Pola Grijalva is the President of the China Chamber of Commerce Mexico and Senior Partner with the World Trade and Investment Group.

Would love to see China and Mexico sharing social and cultural activities with each other. Both have great culture and food. Cultural exchange programs would help more bridge the gap between these great countries!

The United States is not the largest market in the world.
Retail sales in China passed US in 2019 (goods consumption excluding services)

As long as the Chinese are hiring Mexican's and not bringing hundreds or thousands of Chinese workers to Mexico to replace the Mexican Workers then that is Okay. Next, if any of these Chinese Companies are found to be dealing with the Cartel's as a way around what should otherwise not be done, then they should be removed from Mexico by the Mexican government without questions. The End.
