"Do not speak ill of your father, Boy!"

Adewale's bond with Edward was beyond great

I really liked how Rogue strongly linked together AC3, AC4, AND AC Unity. For a loosely linked anthology series, it’s really interesting to know that Edward’s decision to join the Assassins eventually resulted in events like Shay decimating the American assassins, Connor helping George Washington found the USA, Elise’s death, and Desmond’s sacrifice

I like that ade admits that even though Edward lost his way he still saw him as an ambitious man who at the end of his journey managed to change in a big way

Unpopular opinion: the Kenway Trilogy is absolutely fucking great maybe one step beneath the Ezio trilogy but those six games are miles ahead of anything else in the franchise.

If Edward was still alive, he would've knocked some sense back into the assassins.

Remember when Assassin's creed used to have great characters and stories? Good times

"Do not speak ill of your father, boy"

Brought me back when we first met adewale and i played his DLC Freedom Cry his respect for Edward as a man was inmense and their friendship was remarkable.

I love Adewale here, “do not speak ill of your father boy!” While Haytham is a full adult not to mention a Templar Grand Master, “boy” is still the only way to refer to him due to his disrespect.

"Blessing or curse, I am my own man!"

Haytham to this day still remains as the best Templar.

I honestly think Edward would’ve been proud of Haytham in a way, just like how Haytham felt about Connor in his dying moments. All three men showed absolute dedication to their creeds, even when it put their lives at risk, Haytham was no exception, he was the norm of the Kenway men, just like his grandfather and son.

I highly recommend reading AC Forsaken. That book cleared up so much about Haytham and it just made me ball my eyes out. One of my favourite characters without a doubt.

I’ve always wanted Edward Connor and haytham to have a drink and just talk about life and see how the argument goes 😂

1:29 Haytham: "You had enough?"
If Shay had been successful here... ACIII, Unity and Syndicate would have turned out quite differently. XD

Why is everyone saying that Adewale despised Edward? They were effectively brothers, yes they had a falling out; even then there was mutual respect and admiration for one another.

Yes he was upset with Edward at the Assassins hideout for leading the Spanish there, Edward makes up for it

It would've been cooler if there was a cut scene with Shay and Adewalé fighting. Only for Ade to come out on top (despite his age). Then Haytham would come in. They start fighting while Adewalé talks about Edward. Eventually Haytham would win and with Adewalé's last breath he tells Haytham something deep about his father. It's so effecting that It looks like Haytham has a look of doubt or regret about his path for a few moments before Shay comes in and snaps him out of it.

If Edward had not been killed by Regenald, then most likely Haytham had grown up an assassin

I was hoping Ubisoft would explore more Templar games with different mechanics. I really liked this change of pace from the typical "formula" the devs have been using.

“He would be ashamed to see what you have become.”

Adewale got a point there.

I always thought it was a shame they didn't do more here. Adewale realising Haytham was a Kenway would have been a powerful scene
