Most used Tesla model 3s and especially the Y costs more than brand new right now. Doesn’t make sense to buy used, unless you absolutely can’t wait for ~1-2 months to buy new that your life absolutely depends on it.

I just bought a “used” model 3 on may 7. It only had 281 miles on it. I got very lucky.

About two years ago, I bought a 2016 P90DL Model S from Tesla, and it included free Supercharging and a refreshed 4 year warrantee. Today a similar 2016 seems to cost more than I paid, but it only includes a 1-year warrantee and no free Supercharging. In retrospect, I'm really glad I bought when I did! :-)

Hey Ryan! Thanks for all the work you put into your videos.

I think you do an excellent job giving solid info as well as blending in your personal opinions in Tesla as well as other e-vehicle spheres.
I stumbled on your video over a year ago and I'm glad to see your platform has grown to what it is today.
I still don't own a Tesla and probably won't be able to for financial reasons but I still watch everyone of your videos for the news and I genuinely respect your opinions.

Just wanted to spread some love and say I'm happy for your success!

There is a dealership in town with a ton of used Tesla's for 5k or more over the cost of a new one. I don't get it lol.

Ryan. For maintenance, you forgot the flux capacitor has to be changed every 100, 000 miles!

Tesla will not upgrade you to the new MCU on the recall they fix the ram issue and still give an MCU 1.0. The upgrade is a couple grand depending on the fsd your vehicle has.

Just picked up my used M3 LR AWD. Came with acceleration boost, brand new tires, and new windshield. Paid 40k, a STEAL! So glad I did it.

I bought a CPO 2016 model X from Tesla and it is great. It came with a four year warrantee, free charging for life and free internet. A deal you just can't get with the new cars.

Not worth getting at the moment unless you want something that will depreciate as soon as the new batteries come out. Look at how much the model 3 was before the last upgrade.

Used Tesla’s are so close in price to new ones it’s not worth it for most of them I’ve seen

Just took delivery of the only used Stealth Model 3 Performance in tesla's existing inventory in the country (at least it was at the time, maybe that has changed). 2018. 16k miles. It's flawless. I'm ecstatic!

missing component at Tesla's Fremont, Calif., factory is forcing the company to place a "containment hold" on Model 3 and Model Y vehicles coming off the assembly line, sources told Electrek.

More than 10, 000 vehicles are now undeliverable and will likely "lead to a logistical nightmare at the end of the quarter, " it reported. So the idea that Tesla is not affected by chip shortage misleading .

If you have an old model S like I do, Tesla will not upgrade your MCU. It has to be within a certain mileage or the 85 kw battery or it doesn't qualify. Apparently the $100k price tag wasn't expensive enough for them to fix their sweeping computer problems. Same for the drive unit failure.

No, FSD will be subscription ONLY in the near future so the $10k is a huge bonus and SAVES you money since otherwise, you will be paying a subscription fee FOREVER. For people like myself who keep their car till it disintegrates it is financially stupid not to buy the FSD package especially if we decide to use it as an autonomous ride-share in the future.
