One of my best friends called me crying when his grandma had passed away and we were both in our 20's and he's like hey man my grandma passed away and naturally I didn't want to say the same thing he already heard a bunch which was sorry for your loss and instead I said "hey knock knock" he said "who's there" and I followed up with "not your grandma"and he went from tears to laughing it was great
