Here is the real fact and the short history about Iraq: Iraq back in time before Jesus Christ was born in about three thousand years or more, back then when were only Assyrian empire ruled the lands in middle east, Assyrian's lands were reached from Israel, Turkish, Iran, Saudi Arabia all the way to Yemen regions. Even our Jesus Christ spoken Aramaic tongue (which Assyrians still toady speaking this language). Back 2000-3000 years there weren't any Shia and Sunni people; actually Shia and Sunni's people were originally from Assyrian race. Shia and Sunni are only the religion to divide the Assyrian race into two separate things: Shia and Sunni. but there is one group that didn't denied their Assyrian heritage and culture, which they are today  Christians in Iraq are mostly Assyrian people that kept their heritage, unlike the Shia and Sunni denied their orignial race which they are still Assyrians.
