It’s very relaxing beautiful such a charming small town with nice view of Hudson River and mountains. It’s looks like a some rural town somewhere in Ireland, etc. My favorite place to visit from NYC. The last part of video at huge cliff, that’s is really huge, and climbing trail is breathtaking 😂

Great video! Just visited yesterday from taking a Seastreak ferry fall foliage tour and this village is truly cute and charming! Did some antique shopping and dined at Hudson Hils on Main St, and took many pics! Relaxing sightseeing trip away from the city! Will come back soon! 😍❤️🌊🚢⚓️🍁🍂

I was born in Cold Spring and lived in neighboring Nelsonville for 15 years. It's a beautiful village. I still have a few friends that live in the area.
FYI: The movie "Hello, Dolly" was partial filmed in Cold Spring. Gene Kelly directed it. Walter Matthau and Barbra Streisand where the stars.
Don McLean lived in Cold Spring when he wrote and recorded. "American Pie".
At time 00:14 you are looking at the $million+ houses. That whole block was once was Cold Spring Lumber Yard.
At time 10:52 is Hudson Hil's. It used to be one of the MANY bars in Cold Spring. I had breakfast there last in January 2023. A great place to eat!
You were standing in a quarry once operated by the Trap Rock Company. Unfortunately a young girl on LSD walked of the upper ledge of the quarry and died by in the early '70's.
Bill and Hillary Clinton frequent the Depot Restaurant.
The spring that General Washington drank from and named the area is behind the Depot.
The Hudson House used to be called the Hudson View Inn. I met Gene Kelly in there.
The Riverview Inn is owned by a former classmate of mine.

The North East is lush and beautiful-=-just stay out of the cities where all the dependent people live--they prey on each other.
