My youngster lost his vision due to a diabetic induced stroke. His left leg became semi paralyzed. Last year, he lost his right leg below the knee and 3 weeks later again above the knee due to complications. He then went into severe depression. You my dear have become an inspiration to him. He is trying again. Thank you for your content and please go from strengh to strength. Well done!!❤

My father lost his leg just below the knee when he was 18. It’s nice to see someone sharing info about loss of limb. It still freaks me out when I see a random leg in the hallway, even after 41 years on this earth haha. Not that it happens all that often since I moved out and got married but on visits it still sometimes happens

this is super interesting to me. i used to do pointe and we would use silicon pads and liners to sort of customize our shoes to be more comfortable. of course theyre two very different things but thats what this video reminded me of!

I used to be a nurse & have worked with a few people with missing limbs & know how sore the stump can get when wearing a prosthesis. I'm always amazed at how good your stump looks. It must take a lot of work to keep it in such good condition. I love that you are giving people so much information about prosthetics.💜 Happy New Year.

OH man! When I was using crutches without adjustable handles, I needed these gel things for my poor sore hands! I got them for “high heels” and taped them on the handles and it helped the pressure pain so much!!
Now I use SmartCrutches I can use them at an angle that supports my wrists and shoulders, and the pressure goes along my forearms instead! Much more comfortable once I built up the muscles to use them at full tilt!

Still working on learning to push my wheelchair effectively though! I need like gel filled gloves for it I think!

I have learned so much through your warm cheery being. Wish I knew your channel before my brother passed away. So any benefits in experience that extends knowledge.

You dip dyed your hair. It looks great on you. Especially with your wavy curls.

I'm a figure skater, and we use those gel discs as extra padding in our boots 😅 they're called Bunga Pads (but I'm from Europe, so the name may be different in USA). They are the best!

your confidence is immaculate and i just strive to have the optimism and strength you have. it must be hard emotionally and to see you spread awareness and push through that emotional wall is so inspiring and i just hope to be like you one day. it isn’t the same but struggling through depression has a wall on its own and every day is a new battle and i’m assuming it’s the same for you. and it’s just inspiring to see how you push through it despite your troubled times and i just love that in a person. and just know you are my role model and you’ve helped me realize that despite things being hard i have other strengths that can bring me up and push my through the wall and help me survive through this

As someone who wants to make prosthetics later, your videos are super interesting and give me an idea of the challenges i'll have to face while designing them

You are really incredible. Love your positive attitude. I was born with cerebral palsy And I can relate about being in pain all the time. I’ve always been positive because I know it could always have been worse. Thank you for your positive attitude.

I got one of those for both my legs in the last yr. It is amazing how much that tiny circle helps!
