Born in 1979 the original NES was essential. I had one as soon as it was released, given to me by my grandmother as a Christmas gift. I would love to relive those childhood memories. The games I'm looking forward to on this system is the Mario Bros. series and Punch Out. I can't wait to enjoy these games once again.

Living in Cuba as a child I had only one friend who owned an NES and I remember going over to play any chance I could. So much nostalgia. I never got my hands on one for myself so this would be an awesome treat!

Thx for the video. My dad had one before he passed and it’s just been sitting in the house for years now. Luckily he kept all the packaging and the box. I was able to watch this video to figure out how to get it packaged up since my friend will be helping us sell it.

I want this because I grew up on these games. it brings back great memories. I remember sneaking past the parents room and into the living room then powering up the TV, and the nes with the volume down and just blasting through games. now the kids want a taste of this and I was too late to pick one up

I want a Nintendo classic because it brings back such fond memories of my child hood. This was the best gift I ever got from my dad when I was a kid. Sadly over the years he passed on and I had to sell my Nintendo collection due to hard times. Having a bit of this back would just bring such joy to my days. Favorite feature is definitely the suspend points option. That seems like it would be pretty cool. 2nd favorite though has to be some of the preloaded games like the original Mario, excitebike, and star tropics!

I just ordered one. I got the Super nintendo mini, and now I'm waiting for my 1985 Nes classic to come in the mail! I love the old games on those systems.

Hi Danny! I'll never forget getting the NES for Christmas in 1987...I was 8 years old at the time, had been playing Pong and Atari 2600 until that life-changing day. Fast forward to present day, I'm 37 years old, with two sons ages 6 & 3 and a daughter age 1 that I'd absolutely love to introduce 8-bit greatness to soon...to capture their imaginations and fuel their competitive spirits just as the NES did for me all those years ago. The good news for my children is that, regardless of the outcome of your contest, they will experience the magic of the original NES...I will buy one if I have to...but, upon hearing that you're giving a couple of these units away, I figured I'd give it a shot. I would like one because I was too young to have experienced the original NES back when it was new. Watching many youtube videos on retro games and systems made me appreciate that culture and I came to understand why people that grew up with NES loved it.

Brings back so many memories not to mention I like the fact that you can save your game in a sense with this model. I remember telling my parents to not touch the console so that they wouldn't mess up my game so I wouldn't have to start over from the beginning. Great times! Hope I win.
