Officials scaling back search for missing 5-year-old Summer Wells

Officials said there have been more than 1,100 searchers on the ground who have logged nearly 14,000 hours since Summer was first reported missing on June 15.

I just learned this morning that they were investigating a red pickup truck that was in the area when Summer disappeared...now they're scaling back search efforts. Something up...they got a good lead somewhere and they're focusing on that now.

I have a grown daughter, who's name is Summer Wells. She's married now..but when she was 3yrs old my husband n son n Summer went to our local mall doing some Christmas shopping..I told my husband to make sure he watched her as I went to store nextdoor...needless to say he took his eyes off her..a beautiful girl, blond blue eyed child. I was gone about 3 minutes..came back n she was gone...I went mad..this was the same time Adam, the little boy who went missing..n was dad made a tv program on missing children..I ran n got a security guard..he called police. She was found outside the mall on the parking lot..no way could she use the escalator n pushed open the door outside, b4 we had automated doors. I knelt down n prayed quoting scripture..Praise God a cop found her...now I have 2 beautiful granddaughters and I pray morning noon n night for them along with my 2 grown children. So this case I am really sad and hope n pray..but it's been 11 days I believe since shes been gone! 😳 🙏 🌹

They cannot possibly continue indefinitely. Some victims have been discovered and recovered long after the actual search ended. I hope she is recovered soon, though.
