I am very confused and shucked in a huge problem of inverter sizing and solar panel sizing.
Kindly answer to my Question.
Question: We have 1 HP AC 3phase Motor and we want to calculate how much solar power and inverter size we required?
1 HP=746 Watt
Current it draws during running condition 3.39 Ampere
Starting current 1hp of motor requires 3.39*6=20.34 Ampere

If we design Solar System at 746 watt with 3.39 Ampere then with safety factor of 1.35 we need almost 1100 watt of panels
and these panel cannot provide 20.34 Starting current to Motor . Inverter may switched off flickered....


now to start Motor we need 20.34 Amperes . what to do in this case should we design and calculate our system on starting current ?
Starting Power= 220*20.34=4474 watts
Solar Panel we required =4474*1.35= 6040watts
It is blowing my mind that to provide starting power to a motor we need to install 6500 watts of Solar system for just 746 watt of motor.
If this is not So, Kindly tell me how motors achieve starting current of 20.34 Ampere with 1100 watt of solar panels.
Kindly Answer this i know every thing about solar designing just this point is confusing me alot and I am shucked at all.
And tell me which power starting or running power we will consider in designing phase of inverter and solar panel calculation?
It is also blowing my mind that people are running smoothly 746 watt of motor on 1100 watt of solar panel without any problem but how ? The logic behind it is confusing me because AC, Refrigerator ..heavy loads required high amount of current
If we have AC, Refrigerator, Water Pump Motor, Led Bulbs, TV At home ..what to do in this case you said we cannot use hybrid for motor. we have water pump at home with other loads..what to use in this case ?
