Books are amazing. Like Tony Robbins has said: "Reading is the fastest way to condense decades of an author's experience into days", which is why I always take make sure I take the time to read and learn.

Today, I'm launching a new series called the Entrepreneur Book Club where I share with you my favourite books that have helped me throughout my entrepreneurial journey. In today's inaugural episode, I'm sharing my top 7 books for STARTUP FOUNDERS.

The reason for picking these 7 books are simple; I wish I had read these while I was starting out Click Funnels! These selections that I've picked cover several topics and challenges that every startup founder will face: Should I build a completely remote company? Should I take on VC funding? How do I get the message of my company or product to the masses? These were some of questions that I had, and these books helped me answer them or change my way of thinking to solve problems.

If you're a startup founder, I hope this selection of books helps you as much as it did for me.

For me, the entrepreneurship book has to be Atomic Habits. Yes, because it teaches you how to drop undesirable habits and build new ones, but ALSO because it teaches you to disassociate from your habits. It's so easy to think "I do this so this is the kind of person I am" and talk yourself out of being someone different who does different things. But by establishing that your habits are distinctly separate from you, it gives a sort of square zero for changing everything over, which made a big difference for me.

My favorite Book is the Copywriting Secrets Book by Jim Edwards. I really liked how Jim made writing copy simple & fun by literally following copywriting formulas that have been working since the beginning of Marketing.
Copywriting is the Greatest skill any entrepreneur can learn. Btw, thank you Russel for all the amazing work.

Extreme Ownership - As a young start up founder with a small team, ownership, taking responsibility for the good and bad is something I am learning and growing in. I appreciate this so much Russell! Thanks for all you share and do for our community.

I know it's probably cliché but honestly for me there isn't a more motivating book then Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Especially when you continue in the series with The Cashflow Quadrant. The way he talks about systems and scaling has shaped the way I think about business and entrepreneurship when running my startup!

My favorite business book is "The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey. The book doesn't teach much about starting a business, but it really opened my eyes to the "hidden" world of finances. I was living paycheck to paycheck before I read that book, with $0 invested in any assets. I now am much better at saving money, I invest frequently, and I have an insatiable hunger for earning more money. The best thing that book taught me was that I am fully responsible for my financial success or failure - and that's game changing.

My favorite book is The Four Hour Work Week - I read it while in business school, where the options seemed to be to either go work for a mega corporation, or try to start a mega-billion dollar company like Facebook or Uber. The Four Hour Work Week taught me that it's okay to be somewhere in between, and that "lifestyle businesses" weren't the devil that business school was making them out to be. Great video Russell!

My favourite book is The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ deMarco

I read his book one and a half years ago and it was the first book that I read on entrepreneurship, financial freedom and business. In fact, it was so good that it completely changed my life for good because I was in 12th grade and I had no idea what i was gonna do career wise but this book gave me clarity and the principles in the book are very easy to understand!

These books are all new to me, and your highlighting one paragraph each was very helpful. One of my favorites is "The Hidden Millionaire" by Anthony Morrison. In it, he outlines what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur in a way that can be understood by virtually anyone. Clearly, almost anyone COULD take the actions, and develop the mindset, that he discusses; it's a matter of WILL you? Here's a quote that I now think of as an early (2008) foreshadowing of remote work: "Creativity requires space to flourish. We all require a certain amount of privacy to allow our imaginations to soar."

One of my favorite books is The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. It helps me get and stay motivated to take massive action towards my goals, and realize that success is a moral obligation.

I liked Shoe Dog is because Phil Knight is not only a business genius. But he's also a very good story teller. I felt like I'm watching a movie reading his book. Hope most business books writes like his style.

Even though it's not specifically for business, The Alchemist by Coelho is fantastic and deals with pursuing your dreams despite all of the setbacks which will come along the way. Extremely motivational and full of wisdom and a must read for every entrepeneur who is struggling from time to time (and we all do)

My Favorite so far is ''Shoe Dog'' actually. And i smiled because i bought this book lately and i was wearing Nike shoes. This book was an answer for me in so many ways. I have that vision for my company i needed to expand, feel others peoples roads to succeess through a similar path i have. This book has opened my vision more and more, and i can see what a human can do with vision. That's a very powerful book i have to read again! And of course following that crazy calling...!

One of my favourite business book ever is 100M Offers Alex Hormozi which I recommend to anyone reading this comment.

I've read it recently and it completely changed my business. I want from selling my main digital marketing offer from 1500$ to 3800$ just because of Alex's offer creation method.

Otherwise, great video Russel thank you very much as always 💪🏼

Think and Grow Rich - my parents are military and they programmed me to think like an employee. This book changed my mindset to think like an entrepreneur!

My all-time favorite is the classic “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. There is so much gold in this book that applies today. I’ve just started reading another of his called “Outwitting the Devil” and it has some absolutely uncanny relevance to what is going on in our world today even though he wrote it in 1938!

Been a book devourer for years… Most of my favorite ones are in these comments, of things related to business. I’m actually really digging the Secrets trilogy by Russell Brunson right at the moment and got copywriting secrets as well from your business partner! I’ve been in brick and mortar businesses for 20+ years and pivoting out of that and getting into digital marketing right now, as of this summer. There is so much to learn!
