English Pronunciation | The Letter 'G' | 4 ways to pronounce G in English + Bonus!?

In this English Pronunciation Lesson I will help you to learn all the ways we can pronounce the letter G in English. The Letter G is a CONSONANT letter and is the 7th Letter in the English Alphabet. The Letter G can be a difficult letter to master in English because there are SO MANY rules and SO MANY exceptions! So let's begin!!

The Letter G can be pronounced in 4 different ways in English (6 ways if you count GH and Silent as pronunciation too!).

1. G = ʤ - Gentle, Gin, Generous
2. G = g - Go, Game, Guitar
3. G = ʒ - Rouge, Prestige, Beige
4. G = ŋ - Sing, Banging, -ing
(5.) G = f - Cough, Rough, Tough
(6.) G = - High, Sigh, Weight, Eight.

Together we will practice all of these different ways to pronounce the letter G and learn some of the rules for when it is pronounced in all those different ways. Hopefully, by the end of the video, you will have improved your pronunciation for the letter G and lots of other English sounds!
