Sony MDR-ZX100 Review

This is a review of the Sony MDR-ZX100's. They are a very cheap pair of headphones that are usually sold for $20. Personally, I bought mine at Target. For the price, they are one of the best on the market. With 30mm drivers, the ZX100's are definitely a powerful portable headphone. The portable design makes them ideal for trips or recreational use. As with all Sony headphones, the bass is very good. Granted, these headphones are a very low model, but they come through in that department, whereas, the highs and the mids are lacking. You cannot go wrong with these cheap, portable headphones from Sony.

I just got these today and love them. They have great sound quality and are comfortable and only $20??? That=day made. If you are on the fence, get them you will not be disappointed.

Excellent review man. I too dislike heavy base. I much prefer clear crisp highs as the dominating factor. Have you found any other headphones in about the same price range which you like better?

Even though Sony is not the best I do plan on buying them one day. I just like the model.

quick question tho I noticed that some of the models look kind of different. Some of the models don't have the writing/print under Sony, but also the ear phones themselves look glossy and Sony's name is Chrome/flashy.

And haha they are for sony but I'm getting 40mm bass headphones by Philips and O'Neil for 30 dollars and thats beast because dubstep- is mostly bass and I love dubstep :3

Buying hedphones is 90% for comfort. These feel good. I fell asleep wearing them and they feel like you're wearing nothing. With beats you just pay for the name. These are the same as beats, minus the b on the side and a bunch of money.

Get the Sony MDR-XD200 the same price better sound no exaggerated bass and more padding, very comfortable and over ear not on.

For 10$ you should get Soundlogic Dynabass headphones. The sound quality is the best you'll get for that price. Much better than the Sony MDR-ZX100

thanks for this review. Is there a lot of sound leakage from these headphones? would people around be able to hear my music if i use these and put up my volume? is this headphone durable?
