@Baron: I agree with you. It's once thing to be a guest & visit. All inconveniences and uncomfortableness can be chalked up to experiencing a new environment & when in Rome, do as the Romans. But, to live long term with those inconveniences can breed contempt and resentment. The glow fades away and dies.

A couple of days ago "Prince" Billy made a solo appearance in London to present awards for saving the wildlife of Africa. So a patronising, colonial affair. This is the same Billy who has spent much of his life, terrorising, pursuing and encouraging a pack of hounds to tear helpless foxes limb from limb, all for his entertainment!.
