It’s because the creators, they decided to make an idea that Peppa would have an sister, and they ended up scratching the idea, but forgot to remove they sister

The real thing is ya she had cancer her real name was penny and daddy pig locked her in the basement and when daddy pig gone in
The basement he was suppose to get a flash light but instead when u heard noises that was when daddy pig was hitting penny and then when gorgege was sick in another episode he broke the fourth wall and he looked actually at the wall then the camera and that he was scared he would be next in the basement

Real story: so one day peppa had cancer and has to stay in her room most of the days, the daddy pig locked her room so she won't get out of her bedroom. Few months later mom gave birth to another pig and named it peppa because their replacing the original one. I hope that helped

I still kinda dont get it. If penny (the og) was chained in uer bed, how does peppa (new) get in her bed with no one inside it? Also if she was chained in her bed, she probably couldn't get out, and her room is upstairs so how did she get downstairs....
