Angry young climate change activists call for 'radical change' marching through Glasgow

Children and infants were among the tens of thousands marching through Glasgow on Friday (November 5) demanding radical action from the U.N. climate conference in the city.

As the summit focused on youth issues, children like 12-year-old Aina, were on the streets calling for revolution.

"By 2030 things will have already gone really dramatic," Aina told Reuters, "I think there needs to be a revolution before anything happens."

Youth campaigners have been sceptical about political will among leaders at the conference, with teen climate activist Greta Thunberg telling a rally earlier in the week that politicians gathered there are "pretending" to take people's futures seriously.

"The government has been sleeping on climate change and there needs to be a call for more radical measures," said 20-year-old Luca Eck.

Both British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and COP26 President Alok Sharma have referenced the anger and concern of young people about climate change, and urged world leaders to consider their future in their deliberations.

The police are awfully accommodating. If this was an anti-mandate march they wouldn't be as nice.

So they're all going to give up their cars, central heating, comfortable houses, laptops, latest mobile phones, fridges, cookers, lighting, new clothing, holidays, TVs and going to live in a small wood hut are they?
Of course they aren't!!! Hypocrisy at its peak.

Angry for what. They have all the consumer goods they could want. Today's generation and their throw away attitude is as much to blame for the problems. They all want to fly around the world, be driven everywhere, eat fast food. They have no idea of their own actions just blame others

There was a time when young people were at the forefront of style, fashion, awareness and understanding of the real issues. These idiots are lost beyond words.

Who paid for all the air fares for those indian people to come here?
Using air travel when you could have watched it on TV.
Not very environmentally friendly.
