Synopsis:
Set in Vancouver, Canada, Family Law follows lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail ‘Abby’ Bianchi (Jewel Staite) struggling to put her career and family back together after hitting rock bottom. As a condition of her probation, Abby is forced to work at her estranged father’s (Victor Garber) firm, Svensson and Associates, and practice in family law for the first time while forging new relationships with the half-brother (Zach Smadu) and half-sister (Genelle Williams) whom she’s never met. The result is a dysfunctional family law firm operating to help other families with their own dysfunctions.

So for the 3 bad comments I actually got a chance to watch the first 2 episodes and it's really promising. Definitely not garbage. Don't judge a book by its cover and all that

This show should have views as high as suits. Would love to be in this show especially since I represented myself and just finished trial to get my daughters back

It looks promising to me. I looked up jewel and though her face is family and though ive watched a lot of the programmes she's been in, i can't place the specific production i know her from.

This reminds me of katey sagal's cancelled show rebel...and the one from Australia about a fertility doctor's 3 daughters coming together and many other redemption shows. Saving grace. Idk, but I'll give it a go.

not a bad series so far, but Abigail is an careless and selfish little girl still stressing about her parents past, and the poison feed to her by her mom about her dad, plus i didn't like the rainbow family comment, Why do big grown men and women get all out of sorts because their parents are separated or divorced

If this show doesn’t show the struggle from an unbiased male point of view it’s going to get trashed. You need only look at social media to see the times are changing. Courts need to man up.
