I understand why nobody wants to host the Olympics - it’s too expensive. Paris spent something like 9 billion dollars to build the Olympic Village and all the infrastructure necessary to host all of the events. It’s only for two weeks, then everything has to be taken apart and recycled somehow.

I don't think an olympian should have to sleep on a cardboard bed or share a room with another person for christ sake. If you want someone on top of their game they need to sleep... Are they not allowed to book a hotel? Because that's what they id be doing
