Ynon Kreiz joined Maker's board as Chairman in May 2012 and was appointed Executive Chairman/CEO in May 2013. Under Ynon's leadership, in May 2014 Maker was acquired by The Walt Disney Company.
During the keynote, Kreiz will discuss this year's MIPCOM theme, The Global Quest for Original Content, and also address how Maker is packaging original shows featuring its biggest talent partners for cross-platform appeal.
Before joining Maker, Ynon was Chairman and CEO of Endemol Group. Prior to Endemol, Ynon was a General Partner at Balderton Capital (formerly Benchmark Capital Europe). Prior to that, he co-founded Fox Kids Europe N.V. where he was Chairman and CEO.

ngl i'm a little confused at the fact that we're watching this when Maker Studios lowkey crashed and burned...

At first, I was getting slightly confused at times not realizing that this was before TikTok. I thought that’s what he meant by short form. And 8 years from now, a student is going to see this and be like “oh my gosh, that comment is from when TikTok was still a thing” then press the button on the back of his head and go into rest mode or something like that. So if you’re watching this in 2030, be sure to reply to this comment and let me know what changes over the course of the next 8 years. Thx

We suck young blood. I might be minority, but I'm really sick of these people. "This is the art" i haven't found ANYTHING artistic about ANYTHING what they are doing, it's right oposite to me.... just a buisness a calculation
