I usually use just any kind of silverware, mostly used to spoon handle

When you're out and have no opener at all, putting edge of cap against corner of any hard suface and smacking on top of it under slight angle towards corner of thing you open it against should do the trick. Make sure you press it INTO conrer to prevent slipping
