Welcome to this budget travel series of adventure and kindness, through the Balkan countries. Apo from Around the Good World is traveling around the Balkans, having only 200€ in his pocket for 2 months!
On this episode, I visited the beloved city of Volos. I spent two days there, staying at a couchsurfing house with 2 awesome roommates. During my stay, we organized a secret birthday party for one of the guys! I had to distract him, as the others were sneaking into the house with the cake and all... It was really cool! The next day, I hitchhiked up on the mountain, at the extraordinary Pilio. Definitely one of the most picturesque places in the whole world. I stayed at the house of 2 old friends and we had great time in the village of Makrynitsa. We cooked, drunk coffee, ate cherries, cleaned wheat and shared stories gazing at the magnificent view beneath! Next day, we went back in Volos to close this episode.
