How to knit jogless stripes in the round:
•Knit one row with the new color
•Before the beginning of the second row, pick up the back loop of the stitch below and place it on the left needle.
•Knit together the loop that you just picked up with the first stitch of the round.
• Continue your project as usual

Not in the least invisible. Makes a very prominent distorted row/seam of elongated stitches.

Try knitting that first round when changing colors and you won't get one color showing in the other- or those purl bumps.
