Please do a finding the sweetspot to dial in modern metal guitar tone. I am constantly tweaking. But i don't get it right. What do you look for in bass/mids/treble eg.

That is good stuff to know for the AXE FX-III. Yeah, I have an old Princeton and it exhibits that behavior. The volume seems to max out at about 3. As a matter of fact, all my tube amps max out somewhere significantly below 10.

Awesome lesson - is this an improved feature on the III? Cause we’ve found pushing the master vol on amp block the IIXL+ to be underwhelming. We use mostly JCM800, 5150, or HBE models. Thanks!

I want an Axe FX III so bad but I just feel like I'd be so lost dialing in tones I want. But I guess it's a learning curve for everyone?!

cool video as always, just wondering with 2 decimals on nearly every single parameter and new firmwares being released =)
at what point do you stop tweaking your tones ? are you still tweaking your tones on the AX8 for example?

that was always my issue when i owned the Axe 1, so many options and so powerful, but how do you know when to stop when you can tweak absolutely everything and not even getting into custom cab impulses etc..
