Half Hour Hegel: Phenomenology of Spirit (Reason, The Law of the Heart, sec. 378-380)

In this 149th video in the new series on G.W.F. Hegel's great early work, the Phenomenology of Spirit, we continue our study of a major section of the work, "Reason," finishing the second part of the sub-section, "The Actualization of Rational Self-Consciousness Though Its Own Activity" - "The Law of the Heart and the Frenzy of Self-Conceit". I read and comment on paragraphs 378, 379, and 380 of the text here.

My landlord evicted me this december and gave me a month to move out because she wants to sell the house. I've lived here for 6 years. It screwed up my holidays but I'm now in my room with everything packed smoking a cigar. I found a much better place where the landlord actually cares and like hangs up paintings her grandma buys and I spend idle time observing. My previous place smelled like mold.
