And why is the part of Russia to the East of the line so sparsely populated and less developed as compared to the Western part? Why 75% of Russians live west of this line. In general, the reasons are described correctly, but religion is an extremely secondary factor. In Russia, only for a small part of the population, religion has a special meaning, after all, 80 years of communism. An equally important factor not mentioned in the video is the insufficient funding of the modern Russian government of the Siberian regions. In the same USSR, the Siberian regions were actively developed and settled, thanks to this, at least 30 million live there now. Now Moscow is simply taking money from the regions. In Russia, people joke that there is Moscow and St. Petersburg and there is Russia

This video committed so many erros, I don't even know where to start, but let's just point out some of the biggest
+ It includes Crimea and the South Kuril islands as part of Russia.

+ It claims that Russia is the only country in the world which is part of 2 continents. This is wrong and can be so easily disproved:
++ Türkiye and Kazakhstan are two famous countries also spanning both Europe and Asia just like Russia
++ Portugal is part of 3 continents (Europe, North America (Corco and Flores islands) and Africa (Madeira)).
++ Spain is part of 2 (Europe and Africa (Ceuta, Melilla, Plazas de Soberanía, Canary islands))
++ Egypt is part of 2 (Afria and Asia (Sinai Peninsula))
++ Australia is arguably part of 2 (Asia and Australasia/Oceania)
++ The US Is part of 2 (North America and Oceania)
("Oceania" does not always fit definitions of a "continent", so okay fair if you want to exclude it)
++ France is part of SIX continents (Europe, North America (St-Pierre-Miquelon), South America (Guyane), Africa (La Réunion, Mayote), and Oceania (New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia))
++ The UK may be part of only 1 continent, or multiple, depending on how you look at their OTs.

+ It didn't point out that the most direct / geographical sucessor of Rus (more precise: KIevan Rus, which the video also didn't mention) is Ukraine. As the term Kievan Rus suggests, it was based in Kiev (Kyiv), modern day Ukraine.

There’s an insane amount of people of former Soviet Union country descent in Siberia and the far east, they were transferred there by the regime

Not only this, but in the Soviet era particularly, settlements in Siberia were heavily subsidized by the government. The motive was primarily the need for resource extraction. Siberia is an internal colony of Russia, exploited for its resources but denied local industrial development of those resources. The economic structure persists today.
Furthermore, as noted by Fiona Hill and co-author in their book "The Siberian Curse", Russia has chosen to develop true cities in the far north equipped with some of the amenities of the west (ballet theaters for example). The alternative, as practiced in the Australian outback, would be to fly workers on schedule in and out of Arctic mining and oil centers, housing their families in the hospitable areas of the nation. This is a very expensive process, for the climate-related reasons mentioned in the video. In conclusion, the population imbalance would be even more extreme had it not been for very expensive subsidization of Eastern and Northern settlement.

Please review history before spreading misinformation to the world. If you have to talk about a country where indigenous people were brutally invaded and destroyed, then talk about the US... Indigenous people wre never as numerous as russians, and still up to this day local languages are actively spoken and learned in many russian regions.

Very amateur. Even a huge deer population wouldn't make a European "choose to live there". Because to compensate the lack of veggies, you'd have to start eating organ meat like eyes, testicles, heart etc - ready to change your diet completely in your 30s just because you "chose to live there"? And don't forget that even deer's meat is not your deli beef steak - it's very tough and has an unpleasant smell.
Totally puzzled by parts about 'living with the alike' and religion. Orthodoxy is widespread across the whole country. You don't need to be in the west to get easy access to all Christian infrastructure. And people of the east are not aliens - the majority are even the same Slavic - so what "the alike" means at all. The real reason is the REMOTENESS - long and expensive flights to your western relatives. But not living among someone specific - it actually sounds racist.

Very slow and irritating narrative, drawn out to fit in a commercial break, no doubt.

Poland was never a part of Russian state until the end of XVIII century. So learn some history before you start to talk about it.

Такой дряни про Рашен я ещё не видел.
Смешали мусор из своих голов и озвучили своей дуристикой.
А потом жалуются, что не могут понять "рююски душа".
