The slight of hand was incredible. Spoiler: I think I know how he did this. First he already set up an 8 of Spades with his signature in the deck and it's stacked in the deck. Scarlett takes her card, signs it, and when Dan puts the card back on the deck of cards and flips it and starts folding it there is a switch somewhere in that process that gives Scarlett the already set 8 of Spades, he then pulls out another blank 8 of spades and at one point he does another switch to get the 4 of hearts to fold and put in his mouth. At that point the trick is done. The smoke effect is just a capsule. Hence... Smoke and mirrors term. Anyway, its a cute trick.
