Two ferrets squabble while they hunt rabbits underground.

I used a trail camera to see how well used this warren was. It appeared to have some activity so I set up the nets and waited for the fog to lift.

I was hoping Brook would bond better with the other ferrets if she worked beside them. I tried to keep the two ferrets somewhat separate by entering them in different ends of the warrens. Athena is still sporting her summer coat, whereas Brook has bulked up in weight and grown out her new winter coat already.

Why I hunt rabbits - These rabbits are collected for food, for my ferrets and people. This is a free range meat, that has lived a free life. These rabbits will be controlled even without me. By taking them myself, the meat is used. Ferreting is an environmentally friendly method of rabbit control.

For Youtube policy audit - The video is edited in a self explanatory way for all languages to understand. People under the age of 18 also practise ferreting and I aim to set a mature example. Contact between the animals is brief and is not the focus of the video. Rabbit dispatches are carried out off camera. No blood or gore is present.

My father said he used to hunt rabbits like that in Ireland he said they used to have a "yellow" ferret and let him lose in rabbit holes he said you could hear the battle

Put salmon oil on each ferret. This will encourage licking and it should help with the bonding
