Papallacta Ecuador is home to MUST VISIT hot springs. Nestled in the misty mountains an hour from Quito.

Termas Papallacta is probably the most famous hot springs in all of Ecuador. It's very popular and for good reason. I've spent the last three days here and I'm a believer. It's one of the best things to do in Ecuador.

In 2010 I left a job in advertising, 5 year relationship and sold all my possessions to travel the world. In the last ten years I've had some crazy experiences and even owned a restaurant in Toronto at one time. And prior to 2020 I had been based in Cuba.

Unbelievable, just unbelievable! I loved the entire video. The hotel, dining, and the multiple pools were fantastic. The scenic hikes were exquisite. The prices were extremely reasonable too. The Papallacta Resort is definitely a tourist destination!

You got sunshine! When I was there it was totally socked in with fog, cloud and rain. Like so much of Ecuador, all it takes is some daylight to go from nice to spectacular! I could have sat under the waterfall in those throne seats for hours.

I had some delicious trucha for $8.00 in Mindo yesterday. Just papas on the side though.

I also had great beef in Santo Domingo.

Any time you see two rabbits, there are actually 30 rabbits, LOL.

Oh, yet another stunning place to visit.
I would normally run far away from hotels and, find a smaller and more private place but, this place "speak" to me in a way that makes me want to visit, like the hiking trails in the area does..and the food - smums 😊
