How to install HUDS/MODS in TF2

If you are using Linux of any kind, MAKE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR FOLDERS SO THEY ONLY HAVE LOWER-CASE LETTERS.

An easier way of getting to the "tf\custom". Go to the game in your library, press the cog to the right, hover over manage and then press Browse local files.

if you do this sometimes you gotta take the mods out of their folder (unzipped) and then put it in custom, thats how i got it to work.

Hey I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly. I have an empty custom folder and my hud file. Am I supposed to drag and drop it in tf2? If so, how?

I installed the mod "CoolHUD", but the capture icon doesn't show up, can you fix this?

If you guys had trouble like me with the mod and why it wasn't working simply take out the mod within the mod file and put it in custom
