This video is an introduction to my channel, also a summary of what life is like for me here, why I live in Poland, the challenges I face here and what I love about this country, so enjoy and join me on my Polish journey!

=========================================================

Brit in Poland is the genuine account of a British Expat who lives in Warsaw, through this account I want to show people what it is like to live abroad, to educate people about the country of Poland, to tell the history of Poland and to show off what this place has to offer, providing guides to locations I have visited and experiences I have taken part in.
I am a start up Youtube channel, so getting featured in the search engine can be hard, so I ask the following, if you like this video I promise you there will be many more to come, so please like, subscribe or comment...if you are feeling particularly generous then please share with your friends :D

I am always open to suggestions on how to improve, places to visit or topics to cover, so never be afraid to comment, I try to respond to all comments on my channel and engage with my viewers!

I’m glad I found your channel. I’m an American and I have been to Warsaw probably eight times in the past 9 years, probably more. I have friends in Warsaw and I love the city. I always feel at home there.

I enjoyed watching your video. As for me, I’m very happy that a person of your quality appreciates my country. Five years is a long time but if you decide to stay even longer and continue to dig deeper and deeper, perhaps you’ll get more insights into the essence of Polishness. I don’t know if the book “Monte Cassino” by Melchior Wańkowicz has been translated into English, but if it has, it could help you understand what this unerasable Polishness that lives deep down in most Poles is all about. Dziękuję za uwagę : ) Have a great Sunday!

Definitely the hardest thing is that the longer you stay abroad then the harder is to go back to your country as you will feel less and less connected to it, i'm just speaking purely of my own life experiences and struggles. Yet still it doesn't matter because at he end of the day you may find happiness and stuff anywhere. Good luck to you

Good luck with your Polish and finding a partner here. Fingers crossed you'll have a wonderful almost Slavic life here in Central Europe :)

Congratulations on you vlog. Poland and the UK must have a lot in commom because I went to the UK for a 12-day tour last July and I felt at home, too. I loved the cities, little towns and villages, the architecture and the countryside, Devon cliffs, castles, people, even the weather was nice and the food (great fish&chips in the docks in Liverpool)! But the most "exotic" for me were terraced houses of different styles, bay windows, flowers everywhere and ... the transparent floating clouds. And the hit were PALM TREES, even in the North. Great country. Can't wait to visit again in the future.
