This is hands down the best integrated sponsorship I've ever seen in a YouTube video.

A lot of ads I don't like, but I thought this one was charming. Especially the earnest warning to wear a lifejacket while on the water.

Growing up in Cincinnati, I always called it Caesar’s Creek because we needlessly add possessive S’s to proper nouns like Kroger’s or Meijer’s

How have I lived ten minutes from Caesar Creek 21 years and never knew this?!

I like how Ohio gets mentioned so rarely that we get excited when we see our state in a title.

I live in ohio and I used to look for fossils all the time. Still do lol.

When i was in grade school I took an entire summer digging a hole that was 6 foot deep looking for anything i could find. I wanted to be a archaeologist or paleontologist for forever. I only just recently changed it lol

As an Ohioan who grew up near Caesar Creek, this makes me so happy.

SO COOL! I was volunteer at Cincinnati Natural History museum in early 90s when NIGEL HUGHES was THE trilobite expert. He came from England, talked like a Beatle and loved Elvis. My girlfriend wanted to marry him but he was taken! LOL. He said reputation of Cincinnati area was every time it rained, fossils washed out of hillsides. TRUE! Good times. EXCELLENT VIDEO!

Am an native Ohioan living in Kansas. Saw the thumbnail and had to watch. Very interesting!!! Have heard about all those fossil beds in the Ohio River that people can visit during the cold weather months when the water levels are down. Never heard of this location. Next trip home visiting relatives, will have to make a detour to this location. there are lots of fossil beds in Iowa like what is depicted in this video. Kansas was bottom of an inland sea at one time, so rich in various aquatic fossils as well.

I live in a suburb of Cincinnati. I go to Caesar Creek all the time. I've gone fossil hunting on the spillway. There's also a park here in Sharonville where you can collect fossils.

As a researcher, I really appreciate these short SciShow videos! Since I work in a different field (stem cell research), I really enjoy to keep hearing about other subjects in Biology! If you are interested in my field though, feel free to ask anything!

I live in Ohio and didn't know that this treasure trove of palentological wonders was here in my own backyard! I need to go to that lake!
