Get the shock arrows from the Lynel - The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild walkthrough #20

Here's the 20th video in our walkthrough for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, where we'll show you how to get the 20 shock arrows from the Lynel so you can get into the Vah Ruta Shrine. It's a lot easier than it looks when you first come face to face with the Lynel. You might at first think that you need to be able to fight it to pick up the shock arrows, but luckily that's not the case.

All you actually need to do is stay out of its way and sneak around to pick up the 20 or so shock arrows you need to get into the Vah Ruta Shrine. You get to the location by heading up the waterfalls overlooking the Zora kingdom using the Zora armour, so you’ll need that before continuing.

When you get to the top, you'll find the Lynel and you need to stay quiet and out of its way right from the beginning. However, if you do get spotted, you'll need to run like the wind. When you stay out of its way, you'll be able to sneak around and pick up the shock arrows embedded in trees and rocks at the top of the mountain. Keep sneaking around and staying out of its way and you should be able to find a good few little batches along the way.

The best cache is up on the opposite side of the mountain where the path heads up through some trees. Most of the trees and rocks you pass will be riddled with arrows for you to pick up.

even though I had 3 stealth elixirs and full stealth armor i kept trying to fight the Lynel head on with 4 hearts, how foolish of me, thanks so much!

I used some iron shroom skewers, some hearty radish dishes, and one of those swords that do 50 damage (if I remember correctly, you can get it from that one shrine with the shrine quest next to the Great Fairy Fountain at Kakariko village).

Had 4 hearts, died a few times but managed it. And the the blood moon happened immediately after I got back to the Zora’s domain :(

That lynel is probably why I’m so scared to go after them I got killed so many times trying to get the shock arrows but I did kill him trying to get a hoof but I used an ancient arrow, and he completely disappeared

I tried fighting him for the shock arrows but I couldnt so I just bought them at Korok village in the lost woods but I think you can get them somewere else but I forgot were.

Easier way to collect shock arrows is to go to ridgeland tower and fight the lizards with bows. Each one you kill gives you around 5-10 shock arrows! its literally the easiest way to get shock arrows and the fastest way too! :)

I bought 10 shock arrows from either the Zora store, or found the 10 on the way to finish Zoras quest. I though maybe they would restock like the other arrows. Save after each arrow so you don't lose them. If he spots you beam back to the shrine.

I just killed it lmao. I did it on my 6th or 7th try, with 6 hearts and 22 defense. That let me take one hit without dying. I just got finished playing Sekiro and Dark Souls so maybe that explains how I did it lmao

I recently started over because I sold most of the ancient parts I had instead of keeping them, but before I restarted, I didn't even bother fighting the lynel, I just snuck around taking shock arrows from the trees around the area in the rain while avoiding him.
