I was in the hospital 23 years ago, I was told to get my affairs in order and was given a paper with several pictures of religious priests to choose from. I'm a white Catholic, and I picked a black Southern Baptist. When he walked into my room he had a look on his face so I asked, what is it? He asked me why I picked him. I told him he had a smile and love in his eyes that only Jesus could give to him. We prayed together and 23 years later here I am. I still have the old pewter cross he gave me. Thank you, Jesus, for helping me make the right choice.
