I experienced God's love directly when I went back to the sacrament of reconciliation after ignoring her for ten years. The experience of Love that overwhelmed me utterly unexpectedly as I was walking out of the church. It was the immediate experience of God's love and is unforgettable. My deep thanks to the kindly old priest who waited patiently for a sinner like me to stumble back through the door and who was the instrument of God's grace for me. And for us all.
