This video opened my eyes. We have a 2 year old cat and recently brought in a 2 month old stray kitty for just 5 days until his future adoptive parents were ready to adopt him. after returning from a trip. During those 5 days our cat changed. While he did seem to accept the kitty, he started giving up his food for the kitty. Luckily we knew this was temporary, but during those 5 days, our cat seemed to have lost his routine and eating habits. After the kitty was gone our cat continued to barely eat but I was happy he returned to his routine with us. Now after 5 days since the kitty is gone he started eating again. I was planning to foster other cats in the future, but after I saw his behavior and after I watched this video, I know I can never bring any cute kitty home ever again. :( So interesting . It's like fostering a child and your own son doesn't like it so you can no longer bring any more kids not to upset your own kid. It makes sense and lesson learned .

Cats are very territorial and love to “make the rounds” around the house.
