It's a very gentle slope. The camera angle makes it appear very steep. Nothing would have happened to her if she had slipped down further. You can see how much tilted the horizon behind is .

I never cease to be amazed at the number of ways people use to try to kill themselves. Trouble is, it mostly involves others who risk their lives to rescue them.
Edit: there have been a number of comments about the picture being tilted……yes we all know that. I was commenting on the trend about how unprepared people put others at risk through their own stupidity. My neighbor is regularly called out to climb the mountains near by to bring the silly idiots down safely.

Mountain was not too steep as it appears. Look at the horizon. It's not straight. Camera angle was manipulated to make the slope look like a more vertical drop.

The phone is tilted but it’s still a very steep incline, and to attempt to climb it without proper protection is insanity.
